C. No Data Transmission
MediaMop DOES NOT upload your photos, videos, or any other information to any external servers. Your media stays strictly on your device.
2. Data Collection and Analytics
To help improve MediaMop, we use Google Firebase Analytics, a service provided by Google LLC. This service collects anonymous usage data to help us understand how users interact with the app.
What We Collect
- Anonymous Usage Metrics: How often the app is opened, which features are used (e.g., Swipe vs. Bulk Clean), and performance data.
- Cleaning Impact: Aggregated, anonymous data on how many items were deleted and space saved to track the app’s overall effectiveness.
- Device Information: Model and operating system version to ensure technical compatibility.
What We DO NOT Collect
- Media Content: We never see, upload, or store your photos or videos. All media processing happens locally on your device.
- Personal Identity: We do not collect names, email addresses, phone numbers, or any information that can identify you personally.
- Location Data: We do not track your GPS location.

3. Permissions
The App requires the following permissions to function:
- Storage/Media Access: To read your gallery items and perform deletion/organization as requested by you.
- Manage External Storage (Android 11+): To allow the App to safely delete unwanted files from your gallery.
